The "willingness to sacrifice" something today without praise or adulation is a daily act in the natural world. The seed yields to the sprout. The sprout surrenders itself to the mature plant. The mature plant bears fruit which returns to seed, spawning its successor.

Plants participate in a system of reciprocity within our dynamic interconnected world. Through the process of living, they transform the sustaining elements of their life into a form which supports the lives of other species.

The "willingness" of just one seed to extend itself beyond the limits of its protective shell, propagates generation after generation of other willing beings rooted in the earth, stretching towards the sun. Now that, is a Superpower!
