What is Super Unfolding?
Superhero unfolding is an idea, a philosophy and a vision. It is the underlying concept for a series of projects, which explore themes of identity and self expression using the iconography of popular culture. Superhero Unfolding is the view that inside of each and every human lies a superhero ready to awaken, ready to unfold, waiting to be recognized, appreciated and called forth.

Superhero Unfolding urges us to relinquish the role of victim and awaken our innate power. To begin to see ourselves and others as unique beings of value and valor, resilient and resplendent. And, to approach the mysterious evolutionary process of life unfolding with curiosity and courage.

This Superhero Unfolding project views every human being as a unique occurrence, connected through common, shared or imagined experiences. Its goals are to  discover/witness/document the diversity and commonality of response and experience; to provide a temporary venue for imagination, inspiration, connection, warmth and humor to be expressed; and, ultimately, to awaken the hero within!
