Today is about embodying change...
"Be the change that you wish to see in the world."
This is arguably Mahatma Gandhi's most well known and most misinterpreted statement. It has been used for decades as a cry to action for many who use anger and violence to impose their views on others.
Being the change that you wish to see involves changing yourself by embodying the qualities that you seek. It is a siren designed to awaken your inner hero.
If you want peace. Then BE peace. If you want joy, then BE joy. If you want change, then BE that change. Bring forth these heart-felt qualities genuinely, in yourself. BE the living example of what is possible.
To BE the change demands courage and patience. It requires discipline and the understanding that, yes, at times you may be maligned, misunderstood and mistreated. All free-thinkers face ridicule. All visionaries face skeptics. All heroes face obstacles.
These challenges are your initiation. They are opportunities to embody and stay true to your vision. They are the breeding grounds for all Superheroes.
